Felt compelled to re-install Bryce today, a software I haven't used in since 2012. It's great for capturing this lost aesthetic of early 3D renders. Quite the nostalgia trip
The user interface is both alien from another era and yet quite easy to pick up even for someone who never used 3D software in the past.
I recall thinking about who this software was for ...it doesn't have a lot of professional features and the workflow for getting a detailed custom scene set up for renders is painfully slow.
Yet it's very compelling ...and despite slow render times, you can get results pretty fast. Can't beat that vibe.
