An animation + mix I made of some Electric Universe & Raja Ram tracks. I made this "mix track" a while back but I liked it and listen to it quite often while working so I figured I'd combine it with a 3D experiment I made and came up with this: Additional artwork related to the project:

First creation of 2022. A simple doodle done on my laptop while in Italy. Say hello this happy swamp wizard creature.
Hi there folks! Besides Hyperventila launching on Steam, I've been doing more and more design commissions for people (gotta pay the bills somehow) and I'd like to just highlight some of my most recent work. Who knows maybe you'll like what you see and commission a design of your own. M an t h a Q u a d c o p t e r This project already rather stands out on its own by being a little more unusual than what I am usually asked to design. A client from Singapore contacted me to design their one-man quadcopter that they may even put into production one day. It had to be light but also enclosed and not higher than two meters. The design was to be used for promotional shots and to pitch to investors. The job continued with additional requirements for animation and adding a character + helmet. This took a bit longer but was a fun challenge nonetheless. Here you can see the two finished animations: Additional animations are planned for this job but seeing as that I was charging less than a tenth of what I should have been charging on Fiverr, I'll have to drive the price up for the next one. M a r s C o i n One of my first commisions ever back in 2014, when this cryptocurrency was just starting out, I was asked to design the official coin for MARS. While perhaps not my best logo design ever they kept it all these years and even recently asked me to design an animated icon for their Discord community. What better way to celebrate the launch of their Discord community than with a rocket launch. F r o m T h e V 3 D A r c h i v e s Now, besides creating new works of art, I've been looking back on my older designs and some of them really deserved a better render. I also wanted to compile a video highlighting my best work in the field of spacecraft and prop design, so I embarked on the arduous quest of importing these old trueSpace models into Blender, setting them up with new materials and giving them a new render. Which brings me to the next project... B r i c k L a u n c h e r

I 3d printed some vest buttons. They're quite practical, really easy to unbutton because of the tip on one end but they don't slip out because the wider other end locks them in place. The vest I got from a clothes-swapping event that took place last week. I also bought this cute figure of Yoda from a friend. Check out her blog you must, at HappyYarnJobs.blogspot.se. What else have I been doing since my last blog entry?
That's about it for this blog. Happy Easter!
Here's a generic blog update on... nothing in particular. Work is going great, we got a present from the 1980s delivered yesterday: The 3D printing is going rather well although the best 3D print I have seen thus far came from a resin-printer in the Karlstad makerspace of a Warhammer 40K Space Marine: I will be painting it at some point in the future in my own custom colours. Speaking of which. Sometimes I really do have too much time on my hands: A new jacket and scarf go a long way towards making a red and black style work well. Custom red shoelaces because why not. Another project I've been trying to get time for is to make some jewelry with 3D printed components. I was thinking some anchor bracelets to start out with: That's it for this blog entry, have a nice day!
Well I'm back in school... After seven(?!) years of being a lone-wolf I'm once again part of a herd. Earlier this summer I decided, randomly as I do, to apply for a course in Graphic Design at a university (yrkeshögskola) nearby. I didn't really hear back for quite some time but about week and a half ago I got an SMS that I was now being considered as a possible reserve candidate. I was asked to send in some practical and written material as a test and the very next day I was told I had been accepted. There went all my plans to move, travel and possibly retire from human society altogether. ..and believe me, those were all genuine plans I had. Regardless, this is a two-year commitment I have made to remain in Sweden, we'll see how it turns out. - Scratch that. Didn't work out very well. In other news; bikes. Went to see the classic bike races in Karlskoga with my dad. Got a nasty sunburn because he had assured me that there would be no sun and just large amounts of wind from all directions. That wasn't really the case. Here are some photo's of the event below: Forgot about this bloody thing for several months. What have I been doing? I went to Greece, printed some 3D models and... ? These pictures should sum it up pretty well.
Got a chance to see the new Star Wars movie. Here's a really short review with little to no spoilers. Good actors. Great attention to detail. Good music. Bullshit tech-talk (seriously, leave that to Star Trek, no... not the Abrams version). The overall plot however was completely unoriginal and therefore messes up what would otherwise have been an excellent entry in the star wars movie lineup. In my opinion Rey's a more convincing jedi-to-be than Luke ever was but seriously... you have seen this movie before. BB-8 was cute though. Other than that, what's been happening? Steam sale, got games, am poor again.
Me and my dad hopelessly try to knock each other out in Gang Beasts. |
