I visited another Makerspace yesterday, might even work there at some point in the future. They mainly work with bio-composite 3D printing and some PLA-based materials.

They are bringing in even more 3D printers and the goal appears to be being able to print products at any size and custom built specifically for that consumer.

...ok while this isn't part of the 3D printing-project, she is just standing there in a half-abandoned production facility in the adjacent locales. This thing is freaking massive and I think is used to stack and move around planks.... maybe. Either way, she looks lonely.
